Level Up is an ongoing series of classes designed to elevate your craft to the next level by exploring specific improv skills and concepts. Great for those who’ve attended several Wednesday Workshops and/or have some experience with improvisation or acting. Beginners or first time Wednesday Workshop goers, do continue with Wednesday and join us for our next session.

There are no limits to the kind of characters we can create. Zany, ridiculous, absurd, grotesque… all are possible, and encouraged. In improv, an instantly fully realized character gives you and your partners such great gifts to play with. In this session’s (Instant) Characters we will explore three aspects of creating a character: physicality, voice, and point of view. There are, of course, many many more aspects to character development, but the skills, activities, and techniques we will develop within physicality, voice, and point of view, can help us create a whole characters instantly, stay consistent in our character choices, and use our characters to drive our scenes.
